Charity is Changing

We are a HYBRID model of social enterprise and nonprofit. At the Zena Launch Pad, our model provides debt free access to skills and capital for female entrepreneurs under the poverty line to start their own businesses.

Through short term apprenticeship programs, Zena program members are able to earn a living wage above the poverty line, while also save monthly installments towards the start up capital they need to start their businesses.

We believe that educated, female business owners are uniquely positioned to address systemic and pervasive community issues.

"My life has changed and I believe that my business will be successful too. I want my business to grow so that I can employ other people so that they can also change their lives, I know how it feels when you need something and you are lacking money."
